I see an error message that says: "Login FAILED! Wrong email or password."
You can double check your password by typing your email address into the "Email Address or logon ID" box and clicking Send Password. If your account is set up under a different email address, you will see "Account not found." If the password email you receive shows the same password you've been using, please double check that you are not entering capital letter Os for number 0s or lowercase letter Ls for number 1s, or vice versa.
If you copied and pasted the password, it's possible that a space at the beginning or end was included. If you are being told that your password is incorrect, it's best to try typing it in manually if you have been copying and pasting, or to try copying and pasting if you have been typing it in.
When I click Submit, the screen appears to refresh itself and the text boxes go blank, but I'm not logged in to my account homepage.
This is likely a browser setting. Some older browsers do not support the latest encryption standards. You can resolve this by installing a newer version or trying a different browser.
MyKidsSpending uses first-party login cookies, which are temporary files stored on your computer. If you see this happen, it is most likely due to your browser blocking cookies. It is a common setting within Internet Explorer and the AOL browser to block cookies until you have specifically added a website to your Trusted Sites list, but it's unlikely that you would have cookies blocked in another browser, so if you have Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Chrome, or Opera installed on your computer, you may find that you are able to log in through that browser.
If you are logging on through a workplace computer, you may need to contact your organization's helpdesk for assistance in changing these settings.
To add MyKidsSpending as a Trusted Site in Internet Explorer, you can click the Tools dropdown menu at the top of the browser, and choose Internet Options. Click onto the Security tab at the top, then click the "Trusted Sites" green check mark. You should now be able to click the Sites button below. Make sure that the top box says https://www.mykidsspending.com, and then click the Add button. You should see it in the bottom box now. At this point you should close and reopen Internet Explorer if you are still unable to log in.
If you find you are having difficulty with other web logins as well, you can also change your overall cookies settings through the "Privacy" tab by lowering the sliding bar.
When I click the Login button, I see: "You need to enable cookies." Please see the instructions above to enable temporary login cookies for MyKidsSpending.
